Tif and Tom have accepted the challenge of orchestrating the soundtrack for the couple's wedding reception, a position more commonly referred to as "Wedding DJ".
For this unique occasion, Tif and Tom will be choosing songs specific to the couple and their relationship and also relating to the topic of marriage.
Tif Sigfrids is an artist and musician living and working in Los Angeles. The bulk of her personal practice is steeped in the events that she organizes to bring together disparate members of her personal Los Angeles microcosm of artists, musicians, writers, gallerists, fashion designers, bartenders, and gas stations attendants. In addition to organizing events,Tif also creates permanent installations that transform the utilitarian spaces in galleries to resemble more domestic settings.
Her work has been exhibited in numerous group exhibitions in Los Angeles and Europe. She is represented by BolteLang Gallery in Zurich, Switzerland.
Tom Watson is a musician based in Los Angeles who is a core member of the music group The Red Krayola in addition to performing in various other bands such as Mike Watt and the Missingmen, Slovenly, and releasing numerous solo albums. He has toured the US, Europe, and Japan extensively and has played a pivotal role in the Southern California punk rock music scene.
The two have performed as a band together numerous times along with being occasional DJ partners.
