Michele O'Marah's celestial portrait studio

As dinner commenced Michele assembled and activate this colorful glitter-emanating constellation that served as heart-full space for guests to get their portraits taken. Though there were some technical difficulties getting the piece activated, and her kids were ballistically sick back at home with Ivan who had miss the wedding to stay with them, but Michele worked so hard and friends pitched in to made it happen. No one noticed the back-stage kerfuffle, or the melted slide projection (I liked it even better melted) and once erected, the colored light acted like a siren's song wooing everyone to line up and get snapped. All of a sudden everyone was out of their seats chatting and laughing and waiting to strike a pose with their mates and or friends. The energized joy and conversation it created was magical. Any disparate elements of the crowd dissolved under the gels, hearts and stars. You never know how certain things will play out and this was and element of the wedding that far exceeded any expectation; it fully blossomed and drew people together, and now exists as full blown joy saturated memory of the day.

Michele:
“My assignment was to make a set for guests at the wedding to be photographed in, so my thoughts ran to the cosmicness of love, which would of course necessitate a lot of glitter and hearts.”
